The Sangla Buddhist Monastery in Sangla Valley (Baspa Valley), also called Brelengi Gompa, is an important place of worship located in Sangla Valley, Himachal Pradesh. Built in 1992 by the Mahabodhi Society, it was established to support the Dalai Lama during the Kalachakra Festival. Situated close to Reckong Peo in the village of Brelengi, this monastery showcases a special blend of Tibetan and Indian design. Its walls and roof feature detailed wooden carvings, and the interior is adorned with colorful murals and paintings. A major highlight of the monastery is a 10-meter-tall brass statue of Lord Buddha, which is prominently displayed in the main prayer hall.
